A Webinar on "The Power of IoT - Configuration of Smart Home using CISCO Packet Tracer"
8 June 2020
School of Engineering and Technology in association with CISCO Networking Academy hosted a National Level Webinar on "The Power of IoT - Configuration of Smart Home using CISCO Packet Tracer" on 24 May 2020 for students across the Nation to upskill their knowledge in the area of IoT configuration and simulation using CISCO Packet tracer.
Prof. V Vivek, CISCO N/w Academy Coordinator, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering delivered hands on session covering the current technology changes. He discussed about how IoT is booming by taking real time examples, living in a network centric world, communicating over the network, addressing the network – IPv4, configuring routing protocols, routing table-A closer look and implementing smart home using IoT enables devices.
This session was organized to understand and discuss about the advanced technologies automation, which is emerging IT paradigm and how network managers regularly deal with growing demands on increasingly complex networks. The activity-based session used experiential learning technique by involving 100+ students across the Nation.
