SET Organized an Annual Techno-Cultural Fest 'INFINITY-2017'

School of Engineering and Technology, Jain University organized an annual techno-cultural fest 'INFINITY 2017' on 27-28 April 2017 to bring out the extraordinary talent of the students.
Continuing the tradition since 2008, the two-day event was diligently planned with great pomp and show in the true sense of the word. The word Infinity signifies 'Limitless' or 'Beyond Imagination'.
Through the vibrant fest, the students experienced the sheer wonder of the hybrid combination of technology and creativity. The fest provided an ideal platform to the enthusiastic students to display their talent thus taking them to a whole new level.
The fest began with an inaugural ceremony by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guests - Mr. Shekhar Naik, Captain of the Indian blind cricket team, Padmashree awardee, Mr. Prakash Jayram, Vice-Captain of Indian blind cricket team and a few other dignitaries including Dr. Hariprasad Director, JU-SET, Dr. Kiran K.S, Sports and Cultural Secretary, and Professors Raghu N and Archana P.
Mr. Shekhar in his talk, spoke about his inspiring journey describing how he went on to become a cricket player with the overwhelming support of his teachers and family members.
The fest also witnessed the release of 'Infinity' magazine along with various cultural performances such as dollu kunitha and other traditional dances, making the event exuberant.
