A Four Day Workshop on Signal Processing Using MATLAB
6 April 2017
Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, SET - JU organized a four-day workshop on Signal Processing Using MATLAB for 2nd-year undergraduate students of ECE, EEE, ISE, CSE, and Aerospace.
The vision of the workshop was to endeavor quality technical education in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering that addresses the evolving social needs and fast growing global challenges endowing a healthy and vibrant world.
Core objectives of the workshop:
- Use MATLAB to represent signals and systems
- Use MATLAB to perform time-domain and frequency-domain analysis
- Use MATLAB to design linear filters
- Use the signal processing GUIs available in MATLAB
Dr. V. Murlidhara, Associate Director SET, Jain University inaugurated the event. Prof. Rajesh gave the introduction to MATLAB® Tool and explained its applicability. The second day he continued with a session on Signals and Systems with MATLAB® Computing.
The four-day workshop was concluded with valedictory function by Mrs. Suma Manjunath.
