A Workshop on Python for Passionate Beginner

School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) organized a free one-day workshop on “Python for Passionate Programmers” on 10 May 2020 through online Zoom Mode. The workshop was intended for all age group participants with/without a programming background. The main objective of this workshop was to create awareness and interest in scripting among passionate programmers. The workshop motivated the programmers towards innovation and project development at the early stage. There were around 367 participants from Technical and Nontechnical Backgrounds such as Doctors, Business Analysts, Accounting, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Data Science, Physics, and Mathematics, etc.
The programmers gained the knowledge of basic concepts of python programming like variables, operators, keywords, identifiers. Analyzing the application of control statements and the conditional statement was introduced to the participants to make them understand the complete concept. The speaker shed light on the implementation of the python program using standard, user-defined functions, and core data types.
The workshop included four sessions. The details of the session as given below-
