With an academic legacy that spans for about 2 decades, the School of Electrical Engineering offers Doctoral, Postgraduate (M.Tech), Undergraduate (B.Tech), PG Diploma, and Certification programs. We have well-experienced faculty members both from academia and industry. The school is well committed to impart knowledge in the vistas of Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Robotics and Automation. With a well-established infrastructure put in place, the school has all the tools and equipment necessary for its academic and research programs. IRNSS/NavIC receiving station is set up in the campus in association with ISRO.
The faculty members of the school are actively involved in research and development activities and have published many papers in international and national journals. They have also presented their papers in many conferences. School also conduct certified industry oriented Skill Development Programs (SDPs), workshops and entrepreneurship training programs periodically. The conferences are conducted regularly and the proceedings are published with an ISBN. The school organizes techno educational activities through the club "EvlanChE" such as circuit making competition, circuit trouble shooting competition, robot race, quiz, debate, guest lecturers etc. All UG and PG students undertake a project as part of their curriculum for the fulfilment of degree and also encouraged to take up internship in core companies. Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) are conducted for the enhancement of the knowledge of faculties across disciplines on a periodic basis.

The school executes industry visits to renowned organizations and companies such as NAL, ISRO, BEL, Accenture, Infosys, Power generation stations and many others to impart knowledge on current industry trends.
It organizes competitions to empower the student community with cutting edge technology through events such as Robo Wars, Soldering, Circuit Design and Debugging, and PCB design events.
The school also facilitates students to enhance their skills through a combination of both classroom teaching and Skill development programs such as Embedded System Design and Power Systems Automation spanning to 180 hours.
