Track 3: FDP on Mobile App Development

Mobile app development is the act or process by which a mobile app is developed for mobile devices, such as personal digital assistants, enterprise digital assistants or mobile phones. These applications can be pre-installed on phones during manufacturing platforms, or delivered as web applications using server-side or client-side processing (e.g., JavaScript) to provide an "application-like" experience within a Web browser. As part of the development process, mobile user interface (UI) design is also essential in the creation of mobile apps. Mobile UI considers constraints, contexts, screen, input, and mobility as outlines for design. There were many sessions which gave a deep insight towards the development of app on Andriod as well as ios platform. The following topics were discussed along with good amount of hands on experience.

Track 4: FDP on Internet of Things (IoT)

The speakers and the trainers provided a deep insight into IoT. As everyone knows Internet of Things (IoT) is an ecosystem of connected physical objects that are accessible through the internet. The ‘thing’ in IoT could be a person with a heart monitor or an automobile with built-in-sensors, i.e. objects that have been assigned an IP address and have the ability to collect and transfer data over a network without manual assistance or intervention. The embedded technology in the objects helps them to interact with internal states or the external environment, which in turn affects the decisions taken. The sessions were very interactive and useful as participants could exposed to the real world applications. The following topics were discussed along with good amount of hands on experience.

Track 5: FDP on Data Science

The trainers gave a deep insight into the world of data science. Data science is an interdisciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from data in various forms, both structured and unstructured, similar to data mining. The sessions exposed the faculties to several real time problems and challenges in the field if data mining and also hands on experience was given on R tool and python programming. The following topics were discussed along with good amount of hands on experience.
