In accordance with the announcement of the Central Vigilance Commission, Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 shall be observed from 31 October to 6 November 2022 under the theme, Corruption-free India for a developed Nation. Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week takes place every year during the birth anniversary week of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to honour his vision of a free, united, and developed India. The day's objectives are to increase public awareness of the existence, causes, and severity of the threat posed by corruption as well as to encourage people to work together in the prevention of and fight against it. The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week commences with Integrity Pledge.
