With more than 60+ patents the Research Centre at Faculty of Engineering & Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) aims to strengthen and support research programmes with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research programmes.
The Chenraj Roychand Centre for Entrepreneurship (CRCE) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has launched various programmes to foster innovation and support budding entrepreneurs, including the Riseupreneurs pre-incubation initiative, which equips ambitious innovators, professionals, and students with hands-on sessions, practical business training, expert coaching, and mentoring to validate and accelerate their ideas. Complementing this, the Seed Support System (SSS) Programme, introduced in 2019–20 and backed by the NSTEDB under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, aids incubated startups by providing seed funding of up to INR 25 lakhs-or up to INR 1 crore in exceptional cases, as decided by the Seed Support Management Committee (SSMC)-to facilitate product development, market launch, and business expansion. Additionally, the NIDHI Accelerator Programme offers networking opportunities, intensive scaling support, and culminates in a Demo Day where participating ventures pitch to investors, industry leaders, and potential clients to secure collaborations and growth opportunities.
