Admission Eligibility - B.Tech. (Regular)
  • Passed with Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in 12th PUC/ISC/CBSE OR Equivalent Board with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects with Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science /Biology
  • IB students should get minimum 26 credits to qualify for the course
  • Cambridge students must study 3 subjects at ‘A’ Level (Advanced level) including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Candidates who have completed 12th or equivalent exams or final year students of class XII or its equivalent, awaiting examination results may also apply
  • NIOS candidates are eligible to apply
  • Entrance Score Accepted - UNIGAUGE / JEE / ComedK

All candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria should follow the below-mentioned steps:

JEE (MAIN) based scholarship for B.Tech applicants

Based on scores availed in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), B. Tech aspirants applying to JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) - Faculty of Engineering and Technology shall be eligible for the grant of the meritorious scholarships.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must fulfill the minimum requirements given below:

  • Must be a citizen of India and residing in the country
  • Students who have secured minimum of 60% and above in 12th/2nd PUC/equivalent examination board prescribed as per AICTE and UGC.
Scholarship Process
  • The scholarship committee will shortlist a merit list of candidates eligible to apply for scholarship after the results of the JEE examination are announced
  • The scholarship committee will announce the shortlisted candidates for eligible for scholarships on the University's website. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the Scholarship Counselling Round (SCR). The details of the counselling session will be mailed to the candidate's registered e-mail ID.
  • The final list of Merit-cum-means selected candidates will be published on the University's website.
  • The candidates need to fulfill the provisional admission formalities within the stipulated time as mentioned in the Provisional Admission/Scholarship mail. Failing to which the Provisional Admission/Scholarship offer will be withdrawn.
  • The University grants scholarships up to 25% (I year only) on tuition fees payable by the candidate and recurring performance-based scholarships as per the norms set by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
  • The decision/approval of the scholarship committee will be final and abiding.
Scholarship Categories
Eligibility
  • Candidates who have won/participated at the National level in Super-A Games or B-Games during five years of basic education in India.
  • Candidates who have participated and won Trophy/Medals in Super-A and B- Games while studying in from class 8 and 12 (five years).
  • The decision/approval by the Scholarship Committee will be final and abiding.
Eligibility
  • Wards of Serving/ Ex Armed Forces personnel
  • Candidates need to possess a Defence Certificate (in-service).
  • Needs to possess Defence Certificate issued by Joint Director/Deputy Director (Ex-Defence personnel).
  • The decision/approval by the Scholarship Committee will be final and abiding.
Eligibility
  • Candidates will have to produce a caste certificate/caste income certificate issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tahsildar as per Government Regulations.
  • Form 'D' to be made available to the Scholarship Committee
  • The decision/approval by the Scholarship Committee will be final and abiding.
Scholarship Terms & Conditions
  • The scholarship committee reviews the scholarships from time to time and reserves the right to alter, modify, change or withdraw any of the provisions and policies.
  • The scholarship amount will not be directly paid to the selected candidate(s). It will be deducted from the term dues.

  • Should any of the information given by the scholarship recipient be found inaccurate or false at any time during the program, the scholarship award will be withdrawn and the recipient will either be charged a full payment of fees immediately or will be dismissed from the program.
