Please Note:

Rs.10,000/- as a refundable caution deposit which will be returned when the student exits the hostel at the end of the tenure.
Students need to handover back their respective rooms in the same condition as they have received it without breakages, damages & missing items to ensure they receive back the entire caution money on vacating the hostel room.
In case of any damage, A student will have to pay the damage charges and collect the NOC from the hostel.

Hostel Rules and Regulations

Adherence to Hostel Rules

Strictly abide by current and future hostel rules.
Understand that hostel accommodation is not a right but a privilege.

Respect for University Administration Decisions

Acknowledge that the University may refuse accommodation for gross rule violations or potential disturbances.
Accept disciplinary actions, including permanent expulsion, for violating hostel rules.

Continuous Inmate Status

Remain a hostel inmate throughout the year unless debarred on disciplinary grounds.
Pay room rent for both terms regardless of continuous occupancy.

Awareness and Observation of Rules

Acquaint themselves with all hostel rules and regulations.
Observe rules strictly, knowing ignorance will not be excused.

Room and Property Care

Maintain room furniture and electric fittings in good condition.
Handle hostel property carefully upon room allocation and before summer vacation departure.
Vacate the hostel during summer vacation as required.

Responsibility for Damages

Bear responsibility for any damage to hostel property.
Share costs equally if the individuals responsible for the damage cannot be identified.

Purpose of Disciplinary Measures

Understand that all disciplinary measures are designed to achieve the objectives of maintaining peace and order in the hostel and must be taken in that spirit.
