Dr. Vasudha Hegde is a Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with over 25 years of combined academic and industry experience. She holds a Ph.D. from VTU, Belagavi, with specialization in piezoelectric acoustic sensors for energy harvesting, and is a University Rank Holder in B.E. (EEE) from JNNCE, Shimoga. She completed her M.Tech. in Computer Applications in Industrial Drives from MSRIT, Bengaluru.
Her research interests include micro energy harvesting, MEMS sensors, renewable energy systems, and electric vehicle technologies. She has published over 30 research papers in reputed journals and conferences, serves as an invited speaker and journal reviewer, and has successfully executed an INUP-funded research project at CeNSE, IISc Bengaluru, supported by MeitY, Government of India.

Dr. Dimple Bahri is an accomplished academician, researcher, and educator in the field of Civil Engineering, with over two decades of experience spanning teaching, research, and community engagement. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, where she has been a key contributor since 2012. Her career reflects a strong commitment to nurturing young technical minds while advancing research in water resources, groundwater studies, and sustainable infrastructure.
Dr. Bahri holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (2025) from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). She completed her M.E. in Hydraulics from the prestigious IIT Roorkee, securing First Division with Honors, and earned her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from REC Jalandhar with First Division. She also qualified GATE 1998 with an impressive 91.13 percentile and an All India Rank of 418, reflecting her strong academic foundation.
Prof. Shashikumar S has a strong foundation in Aerospace Structures. He has expertise in high-temperature materials and aerospace structures. Prof. Shashikumar's extensive six years of experience in academia and two years of background in the aerospace industry ensure a unique learning experience for students. Prof. Shashikumar holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an MTech in Aerospace Structures. His recent PG Certification in Machine Learning from IISc Bangalore (2024) highlights his commitment to advancing technological aerospace research.
Dr. Sumit Kumar is working as a Professor & Head in Department of Electronics & Communication, Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore. Prior to join Jain University, he was Associate Professor & Head at Centre for Space Research, under Division of Research & Development, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. He has more than 17 years of Research & Academic Experience at various reputed organisations of country. He has received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Dhanbad, India. He was a recipient of DST, MHRD fellowship during his M. Tech tenure and also, worked as a ‘Research Intern’ at CSIR-NPL, New Delhi. His research areas include Nanoelectronics, Optoelectronics, Biosensors, and applications of Artificial Intelligence in allied areas of electronics. Dr Kumar has completed one funded project at INUP-IIT Bombay duly funded by MeittY, Govt. of India. He has published more than 42 research articles in reputed Journals and several publications through reputed conferences, book chapters & editorials. He is also a member of different reputed organizations like IEEE, ISTE, IAENG and IETE.
Prof. Sandeep V, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), is a seasoned professional with over 9 years of diverse experience in both industry and academia. A passionate researcher, educator, and mentor, Prof. Sandeep V excels in the cutting-edge fields of Composite Materials and Ultrasonic Welding. Dr.Ranganatha Swamy M.K. received B.E degree in Mechanical Engineering at University Visveswaraya College of Engineering from Bangalore University and M.Tech degree in Manufacturing science and engineering, at Siddaganga Institute of Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. He has completed his PhD in the area of Shape Memory Materials from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

Dr. Srikantha H is a seasoned environmental engineer with over 13 years of experience in academia and research. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Jain University, Bengaluru, and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. His expertise lies in materials characterization, nanomaterials synthesis, and industrial and municipal wastewater treatment technologies.
Dr. Srikantha has successfully taught more than 2,000 students across various technical subjects, including Disaster Mitigation, Occupational Safety, and Solid Waste Management. His research focuses on innovative wastewater treatment processes, particularly electrochemical coagulation. He has also been instrumental in the development of hybrid technologies for the treatment of wastewater and has contributed to patented technologies in this field.

Dr. Pushparajesh Viswanathan is working as Professor and also the Faculty Chair-Placement Department in JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru. He did his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharathiar University, M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives and completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University. He is having a total of 17 years of teaching experience and has guided many M.E., students and Ph.D. research scholars.

Dr. Kishore Kumar Pedapenki is currently working as an Associate Professor at JAIN (Deemed to be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has 16+ years of experience in teaching, research and administration.
He received an MHRD scholarship for Ph.D. in IIT-Roorkee and also has received the "Best paper award" from ICCICCT. Dr. Sharath P C has obtained his doctorate degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NITK, Surathkal, India. He completed his post-graduation (Process Metallurgy) from NITK, Surathkal and carried out major project in Deakin University, Australia and pursued graduation (Mechanical) from MCE, Hassan under VTU, India.
He has previously served in various reputed organization and currently working in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Jain University and has 12 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. V. Hariprasad is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Aerospace Engineering in

He has received B.E. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Kumaragu College of Technology, Anna University and M.E. degree in Spacecraft Engineering from ESTACA, University of Versailles, France. Dr. S. Sujai is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain University, Bangalore. He earned his Ph.D. from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore where his research focused on the effects of grain boundary carbide precipitation on Incoloy 925 welds. He holds an M.Tech in CAD/CAM and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Sujai brings eight years of combined academic and industry experience, having previously served as a Teaching Research Associate at VIT, Vellore, and as a Quality Engineer at JBM Auto System Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. His research interests include joining technologies, additive manufacturing, and surface modification techniques.
