About the Programme

With the Aerospace Engineering industry growing both nationally and overseas, there is growing demand for trained manpower in Aerospace Engineering. The B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering programme offered by the Department of Aerospace Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) one of the best Aerospace Engineering colleges in Bangalore prepares graduates to be able to apply the knowledge of the aerospace domain to the analysis of complex aerospace problems using the modern engineering tools such as 3-D Experience, MSC Patran Nastran, Ansys CFD, MATLAB etc.

The courses include aerodynamics, aerospace materials, aerospace structures, aircraft and rocket propulsion, flight mechanics, space dynamics, navigation and controls, and avionics. The graduates will also undergo experiential learning through industrial visits, the Flight Lab at IIT Kanpur, and industrial training through internships and research projects.
