About the program

B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) will prepare students for the emerging and exponential technologies of Industry 4.0. Artificial Intelligence (AI) enables computers and machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. Machine learning (ML) allows computers to acquire intelligence by using algorithmic models that learn from patterns in past experiences and act without being explicitly programmed for a specific task. AI and ML are among the most exciting technologies of Industry 4.0 and have become so pervasive today that we use them frequently in our daily lives without even realizing it.

Why to take this course?

The B.Tech - Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) program prepares students for Industry 4.0 technologies. It integrates Futurense Technologies Industry 4.0 certifications in Machine Learning and follows a project-based learning approach, leading to internships and career opportunities with MNCs and startups in India and abroad. Machine learning is a key aspect of Industry 4.0, enabling computers to learn and act without explicit programming. The course offers a global study abroad option and integrates global certifications. The program offers internships from 2nd year, aligning with the university's vision of creating new-age Technopreneurs.

Furthermore, students enrolled in the this program have access to Futurense Online Courses in collaboration with Global Partners. These courses offer a diverse range of subjects including Emerging Tech, Programming, Tech Leadership, Project and Product Management. Moreover, students can expect to earn a minimum of four certificates from Global Partners each year, culminating in a total of 16 certificates over the span of four years.

Students in this program will be issued with a Conditional Letter of Intent (LOI)* from Futurense Technologies.

Program Specific Outcome

On completion of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program, students will possess the following program specific outcomes:

  • PSO 1: Become thoroughly conversant with the principles, algorithms, tools, and applications of supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • PSO 2: Imbibe the ability to apply Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning and Artificial Intelligence to build new-age products, services, and technologies.

Enhance your B.Tech experience with the option to pursue a Minor Degree from IIITH and gain unique opportunities for academic and professional growth!

Key Highlights of the UG Minor Degree Program from IIITH:

Certificate Issuance:

  • Students will have the option to receive certificates from IIITH upon successful completion of each semester.
  • These certificates will be issued in three parts over the course of the program, recognizing incremental progress.

Minor Degree Recognition:

  • University has the discretion to award a minor degree to their students, utilizing the certificates issued by IIITH.
  • This option allows students to earn additional credentials and enhance their academic profile.

Research Internships:

  • Top performers in the Minor Program will be considered for research internships at IIITH.
  • These internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and deepen their expertise in their field of study.

Note:

  • An additional cost is applicable for enrolling in the UG Minor Degree Program.
