Deeksharambh 2024 by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology spans from 12th August to 18th September 2024. As a part of raising awareness against ragging and its consequences, JU-FET organized an anti-ragging awareness week for students to participate in various activities for students to participate and understand the essence of a safe environment for learning and growth.

The Sketching and Face Painting Competition, themed 'Anti-Ragging' was an engaging event that showcased students' artistic talents and reinforced the institution's commitment to fostering a respectful and safe campus environment. Through creative expression and dialogue, students could contribute to the awareness and prevention of ragging on campus. This event set a positive tone for the Student Induction Program and emphasised the importance of community and mutual respect among students. Apart from the competition, the event featured discussions and presentations on anti-ragging policies, counselling services, and support systems available to students.

This event was a wonderful learning experience for all the NSS volunteers and first-year students as it provided the opportunity to encounter our role, and its challenges to maintain a good environment in college. Everyone present showed great enthusiasm and participated actively in making this event successful.
