Future Mobility show -2019 |
26 Nov 2019 To 28 Nov 2019 |
India is an economical country; people use passenger vehicles for public transport to travel one place to another place. On the account of the increased population in India the need for petroleum fuels has increased rapidly over the years such that the current fuel availability is not enough to fulfil the needs of future population in our country. Thus, keeping this concern as priority the CII has taken an initiative of sustainable mobility in India by organizing the “Future Mobility Show 2019”, to create awareness and knowledge about green technologies. This event was successfully held at the BIEC, Bangalore from 26th to 28th of February, 2019 with the support of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India and few associations. The sixth semester students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Dept, School of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), were the part of one of the most successful event of 2019, “The Future Mobility Show”. Attending the event gave the students of how there are fundamental shift happening from personally owned vehicles to future mobility centred on driverless vehicles and electric vehicles and alternate fuel (CNG fuel) or hybrid vehicles. |

“IMTEX VISIT - 2019” |
26 Nov 2019 To 28 Nov 2019 |
In the year 2019, Electrical and Electronics Engineering batch of 2016 visited one of the world famous “exhibition” in Bangalore. A batch of 12 students accompanied by faculty member started their journey to explore the core of electrical sciences. The flagship event of IMTMA was started in 1969 and IMTEX was split into two, Metal Cutting and Metal Forming technologies, in 2009. IMTEX at present hosts only metal cutting machines and is held every alternate year during the odd years. The show has emerged as the biggest machine tool exhibition in South East Asia. Tool Tech is the exhibition held concurrently with IMTEX and showcases the machine cutting tools. IMTEX 2017 was the last edition of the metal cutting exhibitions and has attracted exhibitors from as many as 22 countries including India and hosted as many as 1024 exhibitors. The event also saw group participation from eight countries. The next edition of IMTEX will be held in 2019 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Tool tech is a premier event concurrent to IMTEX 2019 showcasing machine tool accessories, metrology and CAD/CAM cutting tools, tooling systems and current trends in the tooling industry. Tool tech manifests recent innovations in technology, design and product development to achieve competitiveness and excellence in the machine tool industry. It highlights recent innovations in technology, design & product development with the aim to bring cost competitiveness in all metal working operations. 20th in the series Tooltech 2019 will unveil yet again the explicit range of cutting tools from the stable of the world’s leading brands. Exhibitor company list: A-Ryung Machinery Ind.Co., Ltd, A. R. Traders CNC, Abbott Toolfast Pvt. Ltd, Abhi Fine Products, Abhijat Equipments Pvt. Ltd, Abro Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Accusharp Cutting Tools Pvt. Ltd, etc.. |

Sai Spoorthi hydro power plant |
2019 october 17 |
In the year 2019 October 17th, Electrical and Electronics Engineering batch of 2018, 2017 and 2016 visited one of the world famous underground “Sai Spoorthi hydro power plant” in Chunchi falls, Kanakapura. A batch of 47 students accompanied by 4 faculty members started their journey to explore the core of electrical sciences. This is a private hydroelectric power plant which generates approximately 22 KVA power. There are 2 units which generate around 11KVA each. A head of 18 m is created. The water of the Arkavathi river is used. The water is allowed to flow into the turbine through a penstock, which is used to regulate the amount of water flowing into the turbine. A vertical Kaplan turbine is used, which is coupled to a generator. Other systems associated are: Drainage pump, Turbine guide bear, Compressed air system, Hydraulic power pads. |

Solar Power Plant” in Doddalahalli, kanakapura. |
2019 october 17 |
In the year 2019 October 17th, Electrical and Electronics Engineering batch of 2018, 2017 and 2016 visited one of the power generation centre is “Solar Power Plant” in Doddalahalli, kanakapura. A batch of 47 students accompanied by 4 faculty members started their journey to explore the core of electrical sciences. The Industrial trip to the solar power plant located at was a mind boggling one. This is a very huge plant. This power plant is a private based plant. This power plant consists of thousands of solar panels distributed over a vast area of land (75 hectare). In this power plant solar energy is converted into Electrical energy. The total power generated by this power plant is 20MW. In this power plant power generation takes place only during the day. At night the plant remains functionless which is the major drawback of this plant. But there are many advantages of this plant which help it play a key role in electricity production over the other methods. The solar energy here is converted into electrical energy with the help of solar panels each separated from one another with a certain tolerance and fixed at a maximum productive angle. The panels used in this plant are of the fixed type with no provision of either single or multi axis rotation to adjust or come in alignment with the sun’s position thereby decreasing the output of the plant |
