CYPE software is used to carry out the analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures for Civil Engineering projects. Mr. Amarnath S N, Managing Director, CYPE Software gave insight on the various applications of this software to the Department faculty members.

JNANA CHILLUME, an event related to a series of conferences in various fields of engineering is conducted by School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed to-be University) every year in order to bring the experts from various fields to share their knowledge regarding updates and advances in their respective fields.
On 16th September,2019 ICE Students Chapter was inaugurated in SET-JU. ICE delegates briefed about the importance of ICE Students Chapter and about the benefits provided by ICE Council to the student members.
The skill development programs are designed to bridge the gap between the academia and recent trends in the Industry. The SDP for Civil Engineering students is ‘Fire Safety in Building Construction’. The students of outgoing batch (2015-2019) were awarded medals and certificates on successful completion of their respective skill development program.
