Dr. Srikantha H

Dr. Srikantha H is working as an Assistant Professor at Department Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has completed his B.E. degree from the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, done his M.Tech. degree from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering and completed his Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). He has 10+ years of experience in teaching and research.

His areas of research are Environmental Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering– Industrial Wastewater Treatment Degradation of Microplastics, Advanced Wastewater Treatment, Nano-Technology, Membrane Filtration and Soil Stabilization. He has published 13+ articles and is also acting as a reviewer at various National and International Journals. He has published 2 patents and 1 book chapter and he has completed 2 Research & Development Funded projects. He is the lifetime member of International Association of Engineers, and Scientific and Technical Research Association (STRA).

Dr. Dushyanth V Babu R

Dr. Dushyanth V Babu R is working as an Associate Professor and UG Programme Coordinator at Department of Civil Engineering in JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from JNTU-Hyderabad, completed his M.Tech. in Computer Aided Structural Engineering from IIIT-Hyderabad, and has obtained Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Pondicherry University. He has 13+ years of experience in teaching, research and industry.

His areas of research interests are Earthquake Engineering, Earthquake Resistant Structures, Non-Linear Analysis of Shear Walls, Geopolymer Concrete Composites, Alternate Cementitious Materials, and Water Purification Techniques.

Dr. Raghavendra Prasad H D

Assistant Professor

Dr. Raghavendra Prasad H D is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has completed his BE from NDRK College, done his M.Tech. from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and has obtained his Ph.D. from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). He has 7+ years of teaching and research experience.

His areas of research interest are Civil Engineering Materials, Performance Characteristics and Economical Evaluation of Various Types of Nanomaterial Concrete, “Economical High Strength Cement Mortar Using Nano Material and Waste Plastic. He has authored 30+ research journal papers and holds 2 patents.

Prof. Manu S E

Assistant Professor

B.E., M.Tech (Ph.D)

Prof. Manu S E is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-Be University), Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at JAIN (Deemed-to-Be University) on Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Concrete.

His research interests include sustainable concrete, seismic-resistant design, base isolation, retrofitting, and structural analysis using E-TABS. He has presented in 15+ national and international conferences, received the Best Paper Award (PALAM’24), and completed a Minor Research Project funded by CRTA, JAIN (Deemed-to-Be University) with a grant of Rs. 185,000/-, on sustainable concrete innovation.

Dr. Meena Y R

Associate Professor

Dr. Meena Y R, is working as an Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. She has received her BE, M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering and received her Ph.D. in “Urban Flood Management” from Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU). She has 17+ years of experience in both teaching and research.

She has authored 20+ research that are published in IPR and she holds 2 patents and she is the lifetime member of MISTE.

Dr. Dimple Bahri

Dr. Dimple Bahri is alumna of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She undertook her Post Graduation, M.E.-Hydraulics from IIT Roorkee and Graduation, B.Tech –Civil Engineering from NIT, Jalandhar. She acquired her Ph.D from Jain University. She has over sixteen years of vast teaching experience and has served prestigious institutions. Her research interest includes Groundwater and watershed management using Remote Sensing and GIS.

Dr. Gautham Krishna

Prof. Gautham Krishna is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has completed his BE from NITTE Institute, completed his M.Tech. from SCMS School of Engineering and Technology and he has obtained his Ph.D. from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). He has 9+ years of experience in teaching, research and industry.

His areas of research interest are Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Materials for Water Purification Water Supply Engineering, Wastewater Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Applied Hydraulics Engineering. He has published 9+ journal papers in National and International publications.

Dr. Dasarathy A K

Dr. Dasarathy A K is working as Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has received B.E. and M E degree from the Anna University has completed his Ph.D. from Dr M G R Educational & research Institute University, He has 18+ years of experience in teaching, research and industry.

His areas of research interests are Transport Planning, Area Traffic Management, Noise Pollution, Modern Construction Materials. He has authored and co-authored over 50+ research papers in international journals and has presented 45+ papers in National and International conferences. He is also a co-author for 3 edited book chapters and 1 text book. He is acting as a reviewer at various National and International Journals and also has chaired various International and National Conferences. He is lifetime member of ISTE, IEI, ICI.

Prof. Pavan P S

Prof. Pavan P S is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has completed his BE from NIE Mysore, M.Tech. from NITK- Surathkal and pursuing his Ph.D. at NIT Calicut. He has 14+ years of Experience in teaching, research and industry.

His areas of research interests are Structural Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Material science and Concrete Technology. He has published 20+ Publications in various Scopus Indexed, National and International Journals. He has published 4 patents, 5 book chapters and completed 3 Research & Development Funded projects. He is the life time member of Indian Concrete Institute(ICI) and Association of Consulting Civil Engineers(ACCE)
