M.Tech. Electrical Vehicle Technology

Eligibility

Admission to M.Tech in Electric Vehicle Technology program shall be open to candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree examinations with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of all the semesters of the degree examinations (45% for SC/ST candidates belonging to Karnataka). The candidate shall have passed a bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation Technology / Mechanical Engineering /Electronics and Communication Engineering/Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering; AMIE in the appropriate branch.

The state-of art lab in this department is established in collaboration with SIEMENS using an industrial software (CAPITAL SOFTWARE) on electric vehicle design. Students gain exposure to industrial equivalent exposure to electric vehicle hardware via JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)'s collaboration with TOYOTA.
