A webinar on "Job Opportunities in Semiconductor (VLSI) Industry and Overview on IMESSAM and IAIM Ecosystem" was organized by School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The speakers of the session were Mr. P V Reddy Designation, Senior Layout Design Engineer, Inohmic Technologies and Mr. Chandu Kavana, Technical and Marketing Strategist, Inohmic Technologies.

The main objective of the webinar was to provide an overview of the fundamental principles of VLSI, ASIC / FPGA design and impart experience designing integrated circuits using CAD tools. The session helped the participants to analyse the basic building blocks of large-scale digital integrated circuits and created global awareness and job opportunities in Indian semiconductor and electronic systems industry outside of the generic ‘IT’ umbrella. The session created an awareness on enabling ecosystem that catalyses industry growth and leadership that helps to drive technology vision for job opportunities in semiconductor and electronic system industries.
