School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) conducted an awareness program on Innovation Techniques in Waste Recycling, Waste Water Recycling, and Energy Conservation on the occasion of Cleanness Drive-Swachhata Pakhwada under Swachh Bharat Mission on 18, 25 and 27 January 2020.

Save Water, Save Electricity, Say no to Plastic being the motto of Swachhata Pakhwada Mission, focused on using cotton bags instead of polythene bags both inside and outside the campus.

Cleanliness was ensured at various places like hostel rooms, kitchen, serving and dining area. It was ensured that the mess staff is well aware of the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic conditions in the Kitchen.

Presentations were given by faculty and student members regarding wastewater recycling, waste segregation, and recycling, energy conversation. Many innovative techniques regarding these topics were also shared in the presentation and many ideas were exchanged through discussion.
