Google AI FEST: A True Learning Opportunity for Students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University)

School of Computer Science and Engineering, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) hosted the Google AI FEST on 23rd September. It was a monumental celebration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative potential. Powered by Google for Developers India Edu Program and supported by GDSC Jain University, the event aimed to educate and inspire students about AI's applications and emerging trends. The festival featured an array of seminars, immersive workshops, and a creative Ideathon, engaging participants in the limitless possibilities of AI.

The event commenced with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by dignitaries from the AI and education sectors. Notably, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally unveiled, signifying a commitment between Google Asia Pacific Pvt Ltd and Jain Deemed-to-be University to revolutionise education through open web and cloud technologies.

Distinguished speakers, including visionaries like Dr. Chenraj Roychand and Ronnie Screwvala, shared their insights, enriching the audience's knowledge. The keynote address by former Google AI architect, Mr. Joinal Ahmed, delved into "Generative AI and Responsible AI," emphasising ethical considerations and AI's potential to revolutionise industries.

Workshops by industry experts provided hands-on learning opportunities, covering topics like Vertex AI and Cloud Security. An Ideathon encouraged participants to present innovative solutions, with Team CYBER emerging as the winner.

The Google AI FEST concluded as a resounding success, leaving attendees inspired and informed about AI's exciting possibilities. It showcased the power of collaboration, education, and innovation in the AI field, and attendees eagerly anticipate future editions of this event to further expand the frontiers of AI knowledge and creativity.
