NSS Wing in association with faculty and students of FET, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), commemorated the nation’s 74th Independence Day with grand fervor at Jain Global Campus, Bangalore.

Invitees to the event included Prof Premanand, Mr. Kendaswamy, Mrs. Ranjini Bhat, and Mrs. Meena. The tricolor was unfurled by Mr. Kendaswamy, followed by a speech in which he interacted with the students and spoke to them on the importance of becoming a responsible citizen as they are the future of this country.

Mrs. Meena took to the stage with an informative session on the freedom movement and shed a light on the sacrifices of the great personalities in their endeavor for achieving Independence.

The resident students decorated the flag hoisting area with floral arrangements and rangoli. Due to the ongoing health crisis, physical gathering was restricted to around 20 participants.

Celebrations were in full swing as students and faculty of FET gather to remember and pay their respect to the legendary heroes of India’s independence movement.
