School of Electrical Science, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) conducted a virtual workshop on “Microwave and Transmission Line” on November 6 and 8,2020. 

The resource person for the event was. Prof. Banuprakash. R with 15 years of professional experience in both academics and industry.

The workshop gave the participants detailed insight into Transmission lines and their parameters, Microwave bands, their applications, various sources of Microwave, Passive devices, and their characterization. The workshop demonstrated the experiments of microwaves and briefed them about various applications and their scope in real-time.

The workshop was highly insightful and it was a great learning experience for the students.
