Faculty of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day workshop on JAVA for Everyone on 25 May 2020 for students and faculty members.

Prof. Mahesh T R highlighted the objectives of the workshop, the importance of JAVA, and why it is widely used across the Internet. The principles of object-oriented programming and how are they implemented in JAVA with respect to real-world applications were discussed in the session. Prof. Mahesh T R gave a complete hands-on session on java where he demonstrated the various concepts of object-oriented programming and salient features of JAVA.

The session gave a brief knowledge on writing Java application programs using OOP principles and proper program structuring. The concepts of polymorphism and inheritance were also demonstrated in the session. At the end of the session participants could develop Java applications to implement error handling techniques using exception handling.
