JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) focuses on excellence in research and aims to get collaborative research work in the spectrum of Science and Technology and Social responsibilities.

Jain (Deemed-to–be University) commitment towards interdisciplinary work is reflected in encouraging the applied and basic research, which might yield long-term social and technical impacts. This document outlines the promotional activities related to research, principles that should be taken into account while planning and conducting research activities.

Objectives

Objectives of the R&D process have a focus on addressing social, industrial and environment challenges through extensive core and multi-disciplinary research activities. The specific objectives include

  • Develop core group of faculty with high research potential
  • Effective utilization of existing facilities and to establish new facilities
  • Integrate research and education
  • Enable faculty and students to translate the knowledge and research into new products to improve the lifestyle of the people

  • Patent and Books publications

The research activities shall include supervision, execution of new research (both basic and applied),inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research, academic and research collaborations with national and international institutions/Universities, Government /private industry, consultancy assignments, Government Funded /Private Funded projects that might result in development of new or existing products, processes or theories there by publications, out-right sale of technology, intellectual property rights and Transfer of technology

iOS Lab

The iOS lab makes the students to create an impact in the society with innovative ideas. This lab motivates the students to be aware of recent trends and technologies.


CISCO Lab

The college is accepted as a CISCO Networking Academy to excel students in the area of networking. Networking Academy helps individuals to prepare industry-recognized certifications and entry-level information and communication technology (ICT) careers in every type of industry. Students develop foundational skills in ICT while acquiring career skills in problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking.


Red Hat Lab

The Red Hat lab is used for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environment. It allows you to define hosts, configure data centers, add storage, define networks, create virtual machines, manage user permissions and use templates from one central location.


NVIDIA - Deep learning Lab

NVIDIA Deep Learning Lab offers hands-on training in AI and accelerated computing to solve real-world problems. Developers, data scientists, researchers, and students can get practical experience powered by GPUs in the cloud and earn a certificate of competency to support professional growth.


IoT Lab

IoT Labs typically provide end-to-end infrastructure, which enables developers to test solutions across a variety of access technologies, transport protocols, network service platforms and business service tools. The labs can also be used to certify chips, modules, network equipment and applications.


AWS cloud Lab

This lab provides services for broad range of applications including compute, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security, and application development, deployment, and management.


Cyber Security

Learn Security Design, Cryptography, Emerging Threats, Network Security and much more. Earn a Certificate of Achievement from Stanford Center for Professional Development. Hands-on projects. Peer-to-Peer Learning.
