Research

The department of mechanical engineering provides quality and socially relevant engineering education at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The department faculties and students were interested in research projects of social and industrial significance. Faculty and students are interested in developing new technologies and skills across the variety of technically challenging fields in mechanical engineering as well as other scientific disciplines.

The department is actively involved in cutting edge research encompassing the areas of Materials and Manufacturing, Design, and Thermal Engineering.
