On the 6th of April 2023, the Department of Mechanical Engineering under the Yaanthrik Club organised a seminar on Career Opportunities after Engineering. The primary purpose of the seminar was to introduce students and professionals interested in pursuing higher education in engineering, technology, or science-related fields to the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam.

The seminar focused on several key objectives, including providing an overview of the GATE exam pattern, syllabus, eligibility criteria, and registration process as well as explaining the importance of GATE exam scores for admission to postgraduate programmes in prestigious universities and institutes in India and abroad.
