The department of Civil Engineering offers the services in the form of Consultancy and testing to various departments for private and government agencies. The quality of services is well acknowledged in the professional field. The services are being availed by Government and Non- Government institutions and companies. This is offered and co-ordinated by Prof. Pavan P S. The department faculty and students are interested in research projects of social and industrial significance. Faculty and students are involved in developing new concepts and skills across the variety of technically challenging fields in Civil Engineering.
The department is actively involved in research under the areas of Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Remote sensing and GIS, Water resource management.
