Bengaluru, 4th to 5th May 2026: AEROVISION 2026, a National Level Aerospace Symposium, was organised by the Department of Aerospace Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) from the 4th to 5th of May 2026. The symposium aimed to provide participants with a platform to showcase technical skills and engineering creativity through various competitions and activities.
The event included a wide range of technical and non-technical competitions designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in the field of aerospace engineering. It promoted interdisciplinary learning, practical problem-solving, and real-world aerospace exposure with participation from over 130 students, faculty, and non-teaching staff.
Technical highlights included CAD Design for precise aerospace modelling, parachute making to explore aerodynamics and material science, and technical quizzes on propulsion and aviation concepts. The event also includes paper presentations for innovative research sharing, RC plane competition, testing flight dynamics and control, and water rocket launch.
Non-technical events sparked the imagination of students through innovative ideas. It included pitch for entrepreneurial solutions, a treasure hunt, and an RC flight simulator for virtual piloting. sketching & drawing, fusing art with aerospace themes, and short film-making on technical storytelling were the other events. These hands-on experiences equipped participants with practical skills in aerodynamics, aircraft design, propulsion, flight control, leadership, and collaboration.
The symposium concluded with a memorable prize distribution ceremony, honouring winners and runners-up with certificates and cash prizes. Faculty coordinators and organisers celebrated participants' enthusiasm, urging continued pursuit of excellence. AEROVISION 2026 was a resounding success, reflecting the department's commitment to nurturing future aerospace pioneers through engaging, practical platforms.
