Grand Finale of Hacksplosion National Level Deloitte Hackathon 2026

Bengaluru, 8 May 2026: The Hacksplosion National Level Deloitte Hackathon 2026 served as a competitive platform for student teams across India to demonstrate innovation, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills. They were met with coding challenges, idea development, and project evaluations. The grand finale took place on 8 May 2026 at the Deloitte office in Bengaluru.

The event featured a multi-stage selection process, beginning with a brand quiz and coding assessments on 30 January 2026, followed by idea submissions, semifinals, and detailed evaluations. From more than 21,910 registrations across India, 10 teams were selected for the grand finale.

One team from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) advanced to the finale, marking the sole representation from Karnataka. The team, comprised of third-year students from IoT and CSE (General) programs, including Nikhil Simha, Hanan Zahoor, and Tokesh Vajrala. The group showcased their project effectively, subsequently securing internship opportunities with Deloitte.

In conclusion, FET's participation highlighted the students' capabilities in a national forum, supported by guidance from the Vice President. This outcome underscores the value of structured academic preparation in fostering competitive technical skills.
