Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, is organising an Eight-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Recent Research Trends in Civil Engineering from 23rd to 30th March 2026 in hybrid mode.

The programme will explore contemporary research developments and methodological advancements across key areas of Civil Engineering, fostering academic dialogue and technical exchange among faculty members, doctoral scholars, postgraduate students, and industry professionals.

Through expert-led thematic sessions, participants will gain insights into current research approaches, applied case studies, and emerging innovations shaping professional and academic practice.

Programme Objectives

1. To present recent research developments across specialised areas of Civil Engineering
2. To promote interdisciplinary research collaboration and scholarly engagement
3. To encourage the adoption of innovative and sustainable engineering methodologies
4. To strengthen academic–industry interface through expert-led deliberations

Mode: Hybrid

The programme is open to:

1. Faculty members from technical institutions, Ph.D. scholars, Postgraduate students and Industry professionals
2. Online session details and login credentials will be communicated to registered participants via email.
