To create awareness and interest in scripting among school children, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering and Technology conducted a free one-day workshop on Python. The workshop was intended for children of age 10 to 16 years and motivated them towards innovation and project development at the early stage. There were around 155 participants across the globe who took part in the event.

Participants gained the knowledge of basic concepts of python programming like variables, operators, keywords, identifiers. Analysing the application of control statements and the conditional statement was introduced to the participants to make them understand the complete concept. The speaker shed light on the implementation of the python program using standard, user-defined functions, and core data types.
