JAIN Students Get a Seat at Capgemini's Table

JAIN Students Get a Seat at Capgemini's Table

Bengaluru, 29th August 2026: Somewhere between a placement drive and a partnership, a new kind of role has opened up for eight students at JAIN. They are not interns, and they are not recruiters. They are Brand Ambassadors, chosen to represent Capgemini on campus as part of the company's Brand Quest 2026 initiative.

The university's Placement Team nominated the eight students for the programme, which aims to strengthen industry engagement and build greater awareness of Capgemini's opportunities among the student community. Their role goes beyond a title. As Brand Ambassadors, they will lead campus-wide campaigns, coordinate student outreach, and drive promotional and engagement activities that connect their peers with what Capgemini has to offer.

In effect, they become a two-way channel, carrying information about industry opportunities to students, and carrying student interest and questions back to the company. It is a role built on visibility and initiative rather than formal instruction.

The initiative has the backing of the university's leadership. Mr Ravindra Bhandary, Deputy Dean and Deputy Director, Industry and Student Relations, and Vice President at JAIN, along with Mr Senthil Nathan K, Senior Manager, Placement, are guiding the programme's rollout on campus.

For JAIN, the nomination reflects an ongoing effort to bring industry closer to the classroom. For the eight students chosen, it is a chance to build outreach and communication skills that go well beyond what a lecture could offer, while giving their peers a more direct route into one of the university's key industry partnerships.
