The Alumni Talk event, held on 25th March 2025, was a remarkable initiative organised by the Zigbee Student Club, B.Tech, CSE-IoT, JU-FET, Bangalore. The event featured an engaging session by esteemed alumni Mr Shubham Jain. He shared his journey from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) to securing a React Front-End Software Developer position at IBM UK. Drawing from his experience and academic background, including a master's degree from Newcastle University, Mr Shubham provided invaluable insights into career-building essentials such as resume enhancement, real-world projects, stakeholder management, and leveraging AI tools. His emphasis on communication skills, interview strategies, and learning from setbacks powerfully resonated with the students, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the transition from academia to the corporate world.

Over 100 students enthusiastically participated in the session, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and learning. Faculty coordinators, including Dr Garima Sinha and Dr Suresh Kallam, provided inspiring addresses highlighting the department's achievements and future aspirations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Zigbee Club Lead, Winnarasi, followed by a token of appreciation for the guests. The event inspired the attendees and reinforced the importance of leadership, confidence, and continuous learning in achieving professional success.
