The Jain University NSS wing organised Republic Day celebrations at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Global campus, Kanakapura, Karnataka. 152 volunteers were involved in organizing the event.

This year FET-JU staff and students celebrated Republic Day with great patriotic fervour and zest. For the students of Jain University, 26^th January, 2023 was a day to delve into the freedom struggle and political history of India. Our students and esteemed faculty joined hands to make it a memorable day. Special guests Mr. Kendaswamy, Mrs. Meena and Mr. Divyakanth joined us with a celebratory spirit. To mark the proud occasion, our NSS officer, Dr. Raghu N hoisted the national flag and delivered an inspiring speech advising the students to become responsible citizens of the nation. The students rejoiced when Mr. Divyakanth gave an enlightening speech about the legends that fought for Indian independence and sacrificed their lives. The speeches aroused a sense of pride in students for being citizens of a country with a brave past. In the end, sweets were distributed to all the participants as a token of thanks.

It was a learning experience for NSS volunteers as they organised an event to celebrate the undying human spirit to triumph in the face of adversity. The faculty of the school was very cooperative and everyone showed great enthusiasm and participated actively, making this project a success.

2. The unfortunate price our freedom fighters paid for our unity and liberty.
3. Democracy gives us the power to build our nation.
4. As a free nation, we should still follow the principles of unity and non-violence that helped us win our freedom.
