The students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) celebrated Teacher’s Day on 05-Sep-2022. The "Teacher's Day" is celebrated across India to mark the birth anniversary of Former President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He is considered as the greatest educator and the greatest visionary of the independent India.
The event was organised to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by the students and teachers of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). To encourage self-evaluation, motivation and team building among the students, Dr. S.A. Hariprasad, Director of Faculty of Engineering and Technology JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) advised the teachers to follow research-based teaching methodologies for the students in his inaugural speech.
Many games and fun activities like "Treasure Hunt", "Pong O Ball", "Battleground Mobile India (BGMI)", "Project Exhibition" etc. were organised by the students. Both the students and teachers actively participated in all the activities and games to win prizes.
In addition to this, the "Project Exhibition" was organised by different departments of engineering of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The students from all the engineering departments actively participated in the exhibition to display their innovative ideas through live projects and working models.
The school students from Paduvanagere Government School and Jain Public School were invited to visit the Project Exhibition. The children from both the schools actively interacted with the participants and exchanged their ideas.
