E&C Engineering
Cellular communication is a form of communication technology that enables the use of mobile phones. This technology has revolutionized the way people communicate in the world. Our B. Tech ECE with Specialization in Cellular technology is a 4 year full-time program. The program provides basic knowledge in Electronics and Communication and some advanced concepts in Cellular technology. While keeping the basic flavour of core ECE intact few courses related to Cell phone technology have also been included in the curriculum.
Many employees switch from using their laptop to their tablet to their smartphone multiple times throughout the day. Therefore this program has been designed keeping in mind the multi fold growth in the usage of mobile phones. The rise of the mobile phone, from the large brick-like phones of the 80’s to today’s modern business tool is now driving economic growth in the developing world, according to Tom Stand age, Digital Editor of The Economist. Stand age stated that the cell phone is ‘The single most transformative tool for development’. After years of researching how technology can build new products and developing new processes for manufacturing and design, electronic and electrical engineers have finally managed to create mobile phones capable of browsing the web and phoning friends or colleagues who are the other side of the world whilst still being capable of fitting in your pocket. As all of us know that mobile phones have revolutionized the entire world and more and more day to day applications that require mobile phones are developed there will be a huge demand for people having sound knowledge in this area.
The competent graduates have a huge demand in electronics & communication industries. A tremendous number of new job and career opportunities will be emerging over the coming years in the areas mentioned above. The graduate will be roped in as:
Pass in PUC/10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/computer science /Electronics/ and obtained at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
