20 January 2026: Faculty members from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) participated in a significant national dialogue on advancing India’s cybersecurity education ecosystem at the conference titled “Securing the Digital Future: Roadmap for Cybersecurity Education and Talent Development”, held in New Delhi on 20 January 2026.
Dr Kamlesh Tiwari, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dr Deepak K. Sinha, Deputy Director, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, represented JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) at the high-level conference. The event was organised by the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), and was hosted at the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education.
The conference focused on a critical national concern, the growing gap between academic cybersecurity curricula and the rapidly evolving demands of the industry. Experts emphasised the need to move beyond conventional theoretical instruction towards hands-on, practice-oriented learning, supported by advanced infrastructure such as cyber ranges, digital twins, and real-world simulation environments.
