Student Performers Take Centre Stage at ‘SPOTLIGHT 2.0’ Music Showcase at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) FET Campus

Bengaluru, 19th February 2026: The Symphony Music Club of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) presented “SPOTLIGHT 2.0”, a student music performance showcase held on 19th February 2026 at the Amphitheatre, FET Campus. The programme brought together student musicians from multiple departments, providing a platform for them to present their musical abilities and engage with the campus community through live performances.

The event featured a diverse range of musical acts including solo singing, duet performances, and instrumental presentations. Students participated enthusiastically, reflecting a strong interest in performing arts alongside their academic pursuits. The open-air amphitheatre setting contributed to an interactive atmosphere, with students and faculty members gathering to watch and support the performers.

The programme also included a collaborative group performance by members of the Symphony Music Club, highlighting the collective musical efforts of the student-led organisation within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The performances showcased a variety of musical styles and formats, offering participants the opportunity to experiment with stage presentation and live audience engagement.

According to the organisers, the objective of SPOTLIGHT 2.0 was to create a supportive environment where students could explore creative expression and build confidence through performance. Such initiatives provide an informal space for students from different academic disciplines to interact and collaborate beyond the classroom.

The event witnessed consistent audience participation and appreciation throughout the session. While minor technical challenges related to sound equipment arose during the programme, the organising team managed the proceedings effectively and ensured that the performances continued without major disruption.

Student-led cultural initiatives such as SPOTLIGHT 2.0 form part of ongoing efforts within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology to encourage holistic student development. By providing opportunities for artistic expression and peer engagement, these activities contribute to a balanced campus experience that complements academic learning at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
