Bengaluru, 26 January 2026: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), with great enthusiasm and pride. The event began with the flag hoisting and was attended by the Deputy Dean (Academics), Dr. Venkadeswaran K. V.; the Deputy Dean (Student Affairs), Dr. Benaka Prasad S. B.; the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Dasarathy; along with faculty members, students, and supporting staff.

The National Flag was hoisted by Dr. Venkadeswaran K. V., who addressed the gathering on the significance of Republic Day and highlighted the uniqueness of the Indian Constitution. Dr. Benaka Prasad S. B. spoke on the importance of the Constitution and its role in shaping the nation. Dr. Dasarathy paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country and remembered Dr. B. R. Ambedkar for his invaluable contribution to the framing of the Indian Constitution.
