The awareness quiz program was conducted to observe April as Cyber Security Awareness Month (CSAM). CSAM is an initiative to put conscious efforts towards ensuring better cybersecurity practices and incorporating stronger security measures. The evolution of technology in recent decades has made cybersecurity an integral part of every organization as it protects all categories of data from being stolen and damaged. As the internet is blurring lines between real and virtual worlds, safeguarding digital identities has become a shared responsibility. The more we share, the more we must care!
The objective of the quiz was to spread awareness on the best cybersecurity practices for the uninterrupted and secure usage of online services.
The event was a success and served as a wonderful learning experience for all the NSS volunteers as it provided them the opportunity to participate in a national-level quiz and learn a lot about important cybersecurity practices. Also, e-certificates were issued to recognize the efforts of the participants. Everyone present displayed a great deal of enthusiasm and participated actively to make this online national-level quiz a success. It was an incredible learning experience not only for the NSS volunteers but also for the other participants.
