The Anova Club, CSE-Data Science at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) successfully conducted a one-day workshop on “Mastering Data Visualization using R and Tableau”, led by Mr Rajan T, Assistant Professor at Presidency University, Bangalore. The session provided students with hands-on experience in transforming raw data into meaningful insights using ggplot2, Shiny, Plotly, and Tableau. Participants explored fundamental visualization principles, learned to choose the right representation based on data characteristics, and created interactive dashboards for real-world problem-solving. Through case studies and industry-relevant datasets, they gained exposure to emerging trends in business analytics and decision-making techniques, enhancing their ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.

By the end of the workshop, attendees had developed proficiency in R & Tableau, acquired storytelling skills with data, and understood the significance of visualization in decision-making. The session equipped them to design compelling dashboards and apply visualization as a problem-solving tool, making them industry-ready. Participants appreciated the practical learning experience, highlighting its relevance to their academic and professional growth.
