Decoding Logic Under Pressure:

Bengaluru, 9th April 2026: Bringing logic and coding together in a high-energy challenge, the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering - AI and IoT, through their technical clubs Neuron and Zigbee, organised “Clueless” on 9th April 2026, an event designed to sharpen students’ problem-solving, analytical thinking, and programming skills. Bringing together participants from multiple departments, the event created a competitive yet collaborative environment that encouraged analytical thinking and innovation.

The day began with an inaugural session, where participants were introduced to the event structure and its four distinct rounds. The first round, Treasure Hunt, commenced challenging teams to decode a series of clues that led them progressively towards a final solution. This round required a blend of reasoning, teamwork, and quick decision-making under pressure.

Following a series of short interactive engagements that kept participants energised, the competition resumed post-lunch with Blind Coding. In this round, participants wrote code without visual output, testing their conceptual clarity and confidence in programming fundamentals. The challenge emphasised precision and a strong grasp of logic, as participants relied solely on their understanding of syntax and structure.

The third round, Digit Manipulation, pushed participants to solve numerical and logical problems within strict time limits, further strengthening their analytical and quantitative skills. The final round, Quiz 2.0, introduced an innovative format where correct answers earned coded hints. Participants were required to decode and combine these hints to arrive at a meaningful solution, making the round both intellectually demanding and creatively engaging.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognising outstanding performances and active participation.

By integrating diverse technical challenges with interactive elements, Clueless offered a holistic learning experience that went beyond conventional classroom learning. The event fostered teamwork, sharpened problem-solving abilities, and provided students with a platform to apply their knowledge in dynamic, real-world scenarios, reflecting the growing importance of interdisciplinary technical skills.
