Bengaluru, 9 April 2025 – The Cognito Club at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) successfully launched the inaugural edition of Cognito Talks on 9 April 2025 at the university’s Global Campus, Kanakapura Road. The event at Seminar Hall 002 welcomed 63 enthusiastic student participants and featured an insightful session led by Mr Pratik Jain, Lead Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce.

Cognito Talks 1.0 was conceptualised as a dynamic platform for students to gain real-world insights from industry professionals. The primary objectives included enhancing students’ exposure to industry practices, fostering interactive peer engagement, and cultivating a culture of continuous and collaborative learning.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr Pratik Jain, an accomplished technologist who worked at Infosys, Bank of America, and Tokopedia before his current role at Salesforce. His session provided students with a comprehensive view of software engineering, covering career pathways, interview preparation, emerging tech trends, and the mindset necessary to succeed in competitive, product-based companies.

Following the talk, a lively Q&A segment allowed attendees to delve deeper into career growth, technology stacks, and the work culture in leading tech firms. This exchange underscored the event’s emphasis on relevance, relatability, and readiness for real-world challenges.
