Department of CSE–AI Hosts 'TechXplore 2025' to Inspire First-Year Students in Emerging Technologies

Bengaluru: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Artificial Intelligence (CSE–AI) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organised TechXplore on 4 November 2025. The event, coordinated by the department’s technical club Neuron, aimed to introduce first-year students to the evolving landscape of technology through interactive sessions, engaging talks, and fun activities.

The event commenced with an inspiring address by Mr Namit Rana, a fifth-semester student of CSE–AI, who motivated participants to explore the vast opportunities the technology domain offers. This was followed by a compelling session on Agentic AI by Mr Affaf Ahmed, a seventh-semester student of CSE–AI, highlighting how autonomous agents are reshaping industries worldwide. To further engage participants, an online quiz on trending technologies tested their technical awareness and quick thinking.

Hands-on learning took centre stage as Mr Akash Subedi, a seventh-semester student of CSE–AI, led a workshop on Web Development, introducing students to modern frameworks and real-world implementation techniques. The atmosphere remained lively with a series of interactive games, encouraging teamwork and enthusiasm, followed by an insightful session on Machine Learning by Ms Noor Nabeela, a seventh-semester student of CSE–AI & ML, who explained its practical relevance in everyday life.

Further deepening the learning experience, Mr Sunil, a fifth-semester student of CTIS, conducted an engaging session on Cybersecurity, emphasising digital ethics and safe online practices. Mr Raaziq Rahman, a fifth-semester student of ECE, then introduced participants to the Internet of Things (IoT), demonstrating how connected technologies are transforming industries. The event concluded with a spirited debate competition, which encouraged analytical thinking, effective communication, and creativity among participants.

In total, around 180 students from various computer science programs took part in TechXplore 2025, making it a dynamic and memorable experience.

TechXplore 2025 successfully served as a launchpad for first-year students to engage with multiple domains of technology, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and creative exploration. The Department of CSE–AI and the Neuron club plan to continue such initiatives to nurture technical curiosity and empower students to become future-ready innovators.
