Sportigo 2026 Brings Inter-Department Competition and Campus-Wide Participation to FET

Bengaluru, 14th March 2026: The Department of Physical Education, in association with the Department of Student Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), conducted Sportigo 2026, an inter-department sports competition, on 13th and 14th March 2026. The two-day event brought together students and faculty members from across departments, creating a campus-wide platform for structured sporting engagement and collaboration.

Competitions were held across multiple disciplines, including cricket, volleyball, throwball, basketball, football, and kabaddi, with teams representing various departments within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The tournament saw active participation throughout, with matches conducted in an organised and competitive environment that emphasised fairness, discipline, and teamwork.

The event aimed to promote physical fitness, leadership, and inter-departmental interaction alongside academic pursuits. Participation from both students and faculty contributed to a balanced and inclusive sporting atmosphere, encouraging engagement beyond the classroom.
