Bengaluru, 7th March 2026: The Department of Civil Engineering at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) inaugurated the Department Innovation and Industry Partnership Cell (DIIPC) on 7th March 2026, marking a step towards strengthening collaboration between academia and the civil engineering industry.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Venkateshwaran, Dean - Academics, along with faculty members, students, and invited industry experts. The initiative aims to create a structured platform for engagement between the department and industry professionals, encouraging knowledge exchange, collaborative projects, and practical exposure for students.
The newly established DIIPC has been designed to support innovation-driven learning and to bridge the gap between academic training and professional practice.
