The School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), organized annual blood donation camp “Sampradaana” in collaboration with Rashtrotthana Blood Bank on 20 February 2020. The drive was a huge success thanks to the many students, faculties who came forward to be a part of this noble cause.
400 volunteers came forward to donate blood during the camp which included teaching and non-teaching staff, students and non-student donors. The overall units collected stood at an impressive 360 units which were donated to the many hospitals that participated in the drive.
The samples were carefully sealed and transported away, while the volunteers helped the hospital staffs in the clean-up of the area. Throughout the morning, there were smiles and laughter all around - a true embodiment of what we believe in - selfless service with a smile. The donors received a certificate of recognition.
Jain (Deemed-to-be University) inspires its students and members to create a positive impact in their as well as the lives of others around by supporting various social initiatives that help an individual become a better and responsible member of society.
