Engineering Students Clinched INAE Innovative Student Project Award 2019

It was a moment of sheer pride, as the B.Tech students of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) brought laurels by receiving the INAE Innovative Student Project Award 2019.  Receiving an INAE Innovative Student Project Award is of great achievement as the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), is an apex body and promotes the practice of engineering & technology and the related sciences for their application to solving problems of national importance.

The Project was titled “Tubercles effect on a wing performance for NACA 634 – 421 aerofoil” and the team of students namely Amrutha K, Dumpeti Vineeth, Gracio Joyal Lobo, Medisetti Swami Charan were guided by Assistant Professor Ashish Gupta of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). The event held at Birla Institute for Scientific Research, Jaipur was even more significant as the team received the award from Dr. C G Krishnadas Nair, Chancellor of Jain (Deemed-to-be University) who is a renowned Indian technocrat, and aeronautical metallurgical scientist.
