Bengaluru, 06th February 2026: The FOSS Club of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) inaugurated its 2026 Full Stack Development Workshop on 06th February 2026, a structured 10-week programme aimed at equipping students with practical skills in modern web development. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr Kamlesh Tiwari, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering; Dr Deepak Sinha, Deputy Director, FET; Senthil D, Placement Coordinator; Dr Santhosh S, Program Coordinator; N. Shantha Kumar, FOSS Club Faculty Coordinator; along with Dr Yogesh Kumaran, Dr Somashekar Reddy, and other dignitaries.
The workshop is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development, introducing current tools, frameworks, and industry best practices. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations, promoting problem-solving, real-world application development and collaborative learning.
The inauguration commenced with a welcome address by Dr Santhosh S, followed by a virtual candle-lighting ceremony symbolising knowledge and growth. Keynote speeches by Dr Kamlesh Tiwari, Dr Deepak Sinha, and other dignitaries highlighted the importance of continuous learning, technical skill development, and industry readiness. Faculty Coordinator N. Shantha Kumar outlined the workshop objectives, structure and expectations, and shared guidelines to ensure smooth participation throughout the programme.
It was noted by Dr. Kamlesh Tiwari that full stack development skills are increasingly essential for today’s technology professionals and that a platform is provided by this workshop for students to gain practical expertise and prepare for evolving industry demands. Furthermore, enthusiasm for the hands-on sessions was expressed by the participants, and a strong commitment to enhancing their technical capabilities was reflected.
